2022 Chevrolet Express 3500 review

1. Haul all the people 

The 2022 Express 3500 seats up to 15 passengers in the LS trim, which is pretty impressive. 2. Choice of three engine options 

The Express 3500 is a bit of a Swiss army knife, it's got tons of configurations to suit your specific needs, and that continues under the hood. The base 4.3L V6 is great, making 276 horsepower and 298 lb-ft of torque. However, check out the beefy optional 6.6L V8 (401 hp, 464 lb-ft of torque) or even the available turbodiesel 2.8L four-cylinder engine (181 hp, 369 lb-ft of torque).  

3. Great towing capability 

Check out the cargo version of the 2022 Express 3500 and you'll find that the V6 engine will get you up to an estimated 7,400 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped.

That number for the cargo version jumps to an estimated 10,000 pounds with the V8 engine but dips to an estimated 6,200 pounds with the turbodiesel engine (when properly equipped). The passenger version still has an impressive 6,700 pounds (V6), 9,600 pounds (V8), or 6,300 pounds (diesel) of estimated towing capacity, all when properly equipped. 

4. Load up the payload too 

Not only is the Express 3500 a great towing rig, but it will let you load up the interior as well. Check out the passenger version and you'll find up to an estimated 3,540 pounds of payload capability or opt for the cargo and you'll get up to 4,280 pounds. The Express 3500 has got you covered, no matter what the load.
