The 2023 Chrysler 300 is a stylish and powerful full-size four-door sedan
The Chrysler 300 is one of the last big rear-wheel-drive American sedans. While the 300 did receive a significant refresh in 2015, the iconic Chrysler is very much the same as when it was introduced almost 20 years ago. But the 300’s impressive run is coming to an end: The 2023 model year is the last for the full-size four-door, at least in its current iteration. The 300 will end its life in style: For the 2023 model year, Chrysler will offer a limited-edition, high-performance 300C boasting a powerful 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 under the hood. The 2023 Chrysler 300 is available in four trim levels: Touring, Touring L, 300S, and the limited-edition 300C. All 300 variants come with rear-wheel drive, though the Touring and Touring L are also available with all-wheel drive. With a roomy interior and intuitive Uconnect® infotainment system, the 300 still holds its own against the dwindling list of large premium sedans.

What is new for the 2023 Chrysler 300?
- The 300 is available in a new trim called the C.
- 300 trims have been upgraded with Heated Steering Wheel, Memory Seat(s), Lane Departure Warning, A/C Seat(s), Automated Cruise Control, Rear Seat Heaters, Rear Spoiler, and Harman Kardon Sound as standard equipment this year.

What We Like
Performance: It may be built on an aging chassis, but the Chrysler 300 delivers a smooth and confident ride. With good power available from the V6 and V8 powertrain options, the limited-edition 300C boasts 485 horsepower from its 6.4-liter HEMI V8, enough to move this big sedan to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds.
Interior: The 300 isn’t a luxury car, but the interior has a premium vibe, plush and supportive seats, and an overall clean design. Five passengers fit easily into the 300’s large cabin, with large doors for easy entry and exit. The cabin remains quiet even at highway speeds, where road and wind noise is kept to a minimum.
Technology: All Chrysler 300 trim levels come standard with the latest version of the company’s Uconnect infotainment system utilizing a nicely integrated 8.4-inch display screen. The system is easy to use and navigate, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity is standard. Most advanced driver-assist features are optional on the 300, including automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.
What Needs Improvement
Fuel economy: As a large sedan from a different era, fuel economy is not the 300’s forte. While the V6 can achieve an almost respectable EPA-estimated 23 mpg combined score, the V8 engines are rated at an EPA-estimated 19 mpg combined for the 5.7-liter variant and 1 mpg less for the limited-edition 6.4-liter HEMI.
