The 2018 EcoSport subcompact utility offers enough cargo space to enjoy more convenience on the go without sizing up to an SUV footprint that feels outsized for your needs. With 20.9 cu-ft behind the second row and up to 50.0 cu-ft feet with that row folded down, the 2018 EcoSport is ideal for occasional outdoor adventures or blow-out shopping trips. The tailgate door has a left-hinged side opening, facilitating convenient curbside cargo loading. 

2. Entertainment technology 

Delivering plenty of standard and available technology features across its four trim levels, your EcoSport passengers can enjoy an array of entertainment and connectivity options. The base S trim includes Bluetooth® functionality for hands-free calling and audio. For the SE trim, you’ll be able to control all infotainment via a 6.5-inch touchscreen equipped with Ford’s Sync® 3 infotainment interface. If your active lifestyle takes you down a forest trail or two, or your local weather conditions require a vehicle with additional agility and handling, the 2018 EcoSport can be equipped at every trim level with AWD functionality. With FWD as the standard pairing for the S, SE, and Titanium trims’ turbocharged 1.0L three-cylinder engine, AWD is an available option upgrade. Pick the 2018 EcoSport SES trim and you’ll get AWD as standard, alongside a 166-hp, 2.0L four-cylinder engine.  

4. Driver comfort 

For daily commutes and weekend adventures further afield, the 2018 EcoSport excels at keeping you comfortable and content behind the wheel. A height-adjustable seat and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel are both standard, allowing you to make the switch-ups needed to fit your profile. Feeling cold on your way to the early shift? Pick the SE trim or above for heated seat functionality and dual-zone automatic climate control. For a touch of luxury, the Titanium trim adds full leather seat upholstery. 

5. SES trim 

This fun subcompact utility can be kitted out with sporty features and functionality via the upgraded SES trim. As well as the 2018 EcoSport’s more powerful engine and AWD, this trim adds a sports-tuned suspension for responsive road handling, and steering wheel-mounted shift paddles. Style and feature upgrades for the SES EcoSport include black exterior accents, ambient interior lighting, and a trim-exclusive black upholstery finish with orange accent stitching.
