When properly equipped, the truck has a maximum towing capacity of an estimated 31,600 pounds with the 4x2 drivetrain and diesel engine.

If you’re planning to haul heavy loads in your truck bed, the 2022 Ford F-550 can carry just about anything you want. The truck offers an estimated payload capacity of 12,750 pounds when properly equipped. That basically means you can haul a male African bush elephant in the bed of your truck.

The 2022 Ford F-550 is available with one of two powerful engine options. First, there's the 7.3L, gas-powered V8 with 350 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque.
