2024 Genesis G80 review

1. Cozy driver's seat 

There are two trims of the 2024 Genesis G80: 2.5T and 3.5T Sport. As you slip into the driver's seat of the 2.5T, you'll appreciate the heated seating and power-adjustable steering column. In the winter, wrap your hand around the heated steering wheel. Choose a 2.5T trim with the Advanced package, or the 3.5T Sport, to gain ventilation in the front seats and a panoramic sunroof to feel the sun on your face. 

2. Two engine options 

Each trim features a unique engine. The 2024 Genesis G80 2.5T trim comes with a turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder engine cranking out 300 hp. The 3.5T Sport trim has a powerful turbocharged 3.5L V6 pushing 375 hp for those who love fast acceleration. Select a 3.5T Sport enhanced with a Sport Prestige package to enjoy a sport-tuned adaptive suspension and rear-wheel steering to improve high-speed handling. Both engines pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. 

3. Handy driver features 

The 2024 Genesis G80 (both trims) has many driver-assist functions to make your time behind the wheel easier. You'll appreciate the parking sensors to alert you to obstacles near the car when parking, adaptive cruise control, a forward collision warning system with evasive steering assistance, lane departure mitigation and centering systems, and blind-spot monitoring/corrective steering. If you're lending your keys to your teen driver, enjoy peace of mind that there's also a standard navigation system and connected services to call for roadside assistance when needed. 

4. Loads of technology 

As you might expect, this luxury sedan has all the must-have tech and connectivity you might desire. Inside the 2024 Genesis G80 2.5T, you'll discover a large 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, heated rear seats, Apple CarPlay® connectivity, Android Auto™ connectivity, and a 12-speaker audio system. If you want to truly feel the music you play, consider a model with the optional Advanced package that adds on an impressive 21-speaker audio system. 

5. Impressive add-on options 

Both trims have options packages and solo add-ons to further elevate your driving experience. A few exciting optional features on the 2024 Genesis G80 you need to know about include the 2.5T Advanced package's panoramic sunroof and power rear window sunshade. The Sport Prestige package on the 2.5T trim offers a surround-view camera system to see a top-down view of the vehicle when parking or maneuvering tight spaces.
