5 reasons to buy the 2024 GMC Terrain
1. Generous standard features
There is no base model GMC Terrain. Well, there is, but the Terrain SLE has a lot more than you’d think. Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and an available Wi-Fi hotspot are all standard.
There’s also GMC's suite of driver-assistance features, active noise cancelation, a 4.2-inch driver information display and a seven-inch central touchscreen, keyless entry, front and rear USB ports, and fold-flat rear seating — all as standard. The GMC Terrain SLE has everything you need for a great drive.
2. Forget the gas station
You know how your fuel light seems to always be on “E” when you’re almost late to work? If you’re in the 2024 GMC Terrain, skip that stop and just head to the office. The turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder makes 175 horsepower for easy acceleration around town, and the engine pairs to a nine-speed automatic. With front-wheel drive, it scores an EPA-estimated 26 MPG combined.
3. Sensational exterior
GMC designers really knocked this one out of the park, with heavy design influence from their full-size trucks. The design works well on the compact SUV, with ultra-modern headlights flanking the appropriately bold grille. Accent lighting echos the design shape, making the Terrain look like nothing else up front. The profile is swept and sporty, with a “floating roof” design that is modern but still stands out. Unique wheels at all levels catch your eye, and upscale trim levels add additional design features to enhance the vehicle’s appearance.
4. Comfortable interior
The GMC Terrain interior is spacious and inviting for five, with comfortable seats and an upright seating position. Front headroom is 40-inches, more than enough for your tall friends. The legroom is similarly generous, with 40.9-inches to stretch out. The softly-sprung suspension is tuned for comfort above all else, isolating you from potholes and cracks in the streets. Construction on the way to work? You won’t feel it in the Terrain.
5. Denali is loaded
Need some chrome in your life? Denali trim upgrades the standard 17-inch wheels to bright polished 19-inch alloy wheels. Outside, you’ll also notice how Denali paints the black trim to body color for a sleeker appearance. Inside, Denali gets an eight-inch driver info screen to match the eight-inch infotainment screen. Standard wireless charging means no messing with cables, while ambient interior lighting and Bose® premium seven-speaker audio system make the Terrain a great place to hang out.
