Jaguar XJ
From 1968 to 2019, the XJ was Jaguar's flagship full-size sedan. After numerous series and generations, the final redesign of the XJ came to the U.S. in 2011 with a range of powerful engines and luxury amenities. This final generation had a whole new look reminiscent of the ultra-luxury cars produced by Bentley and Rolls-Royce at the time, giving the XJ gravitas as well as performance and a plush interior. Available in standard- and long-wheelbase varieties, the XJ also offered all-wheel drive in this final incarnation.

Fourth generation Jaguar XJ
The Jaguar XJ was the descendant of the legendary Jag "saloon cars," as British sedans were often called. For its fourth and final generation, the Jaguar XJ received a complete redesign and reimagining. At its launch in 2011, the XJ was offered with three versions of a 5.0-liter V8 engine ranging from 385 horsepower to 550 horsepower. As a proper luxury car, rear-wheel drive and an automatic transmission were standard.
By 2015, the XJ could be equipped with either a supercharged V6 or a V8 engine, and all-wheel drive had become available while rear-wheel drive remained standard. By this time, Jaguar was known for giving the XJ the most opulent luxury trimmings you could find. The new XJR model offered up to 550 supercharged horsepower along with a supremely quiet and smooth ride. The long-wheelbase XJL put extra space in the rear-seat area for chauffeur-like use.
