XJ R-Sport and XJL Portfolio trims have a supercharged 3.0L V6 engine that makes 340 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque, while XJ and XJL Supercharged trims have a supercharged 470-hp 5.0L V8 engine that makes 470 hp and 424 lb-ft of torque. With the V8 engine, the Jaguar XJ can sprint from zero to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds (according to the manufacturer, when new). 4. Enhanced infotainment and connectivity features 

The Jaguar XJ offers lots of fresh tech features for the 2016 model year. With standard InControl^® Apps^™ technology, you can access your smartphone’s compatible apps using the car’s eight-inch touchscreen. You’ll also get an available Wi-Fi hotspot and available remote start for your convenience.

An upgraded 17-speaker premium Meridian^™ surround sound system is standard, but you can look for a model with the available 26-speaker Meridian audio system. This high-tech system has microphones above each seat to channel passengers’ voices through the speakers, adjusting music and speech volume accordingly.
