2015 Volkswagen Jetta review

1. Roomy interior 

The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta may be a compact sedan, but it’s ideal for your family and friends because it is small enough to manage crowded streets and tight parking lots but roomy enough for everyone. Up front, the Jetta offers 41.2 inches of legroom and well-padded seats for a comfortable ride. The rear seats also have plenty of space, with 38.1 inches of legroom. 2. Spacious trunk

On top of being quick, this powertrain is commuter-friendly with EPA-estimated fuel-economy numbers of 25 mpg city, 36 mpg highway, and 29 mpg combined with the five-speed manual transmission.

The 2.0L turbodiesel four-cylinder engine delivers 150 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque and will impress you with its EPA-estimated 30 mpg city, 44 mpg highway, and 35 mpg combined with its six-speed manual transmission. For the performance lover inside you, there’s also the GLI model, which uses a turbocharged 210-hp 2.0L engine for on-road thrills. 

4. Hybrid model 

If you’ve got a longer commute, you may want to consider the 2015 Jetta Hybrid. It comes standard with a 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder and an electric motor that combine for 170 hp. While it won’t blow you away with speed, the hybrid will impress you with its EPA-estimated fuel economy of 41 mpg city, 48 mpg highway, and 44 mpg combined. This will help you go further between stops on your commute or next road trip.  

5. Driver-assist features 

The 2015 model year brought in a handful of driver-assist features you'll find helpful on your daily commute. They include blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision warning. These features are standard in the 1.8T SE with the Connectivity and Navigation package and all SEL trims.
