2022 Cadillac CT4 offers many options
Cadillac's smallest car, the 2022 CT4, is a performance-focused luxury sedan. The smaller sibling of the CT5 comes in a variety of flavors, including rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, two turbocharged engine choices and several trims with the Premium Luxury tier at the top.
Cadillac made most driver aids standard for the 2022 CT4, which joins wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ as standard features. But adaptive cruise control is still not standard, unlike on many rival vehicles.
But while it may be the entry-level sedan offered by Cadillac, it falls short of its lofty ambition: competing with the Mercedes-Benz CLA, BMW 2 Series or Audi A3. While the CT4 checks the performance box, at least as far as acceleration is concerned, the ride is stiff and bumpy. And the interior features too much low-quality plastic even on higher trim levels to clear the luxury bar Cadillac set for itself.

What We Like
Engines: The CT4 is plenty powerful. The CT4 can go from 0-60 mph in just 5 seconds with the upgraded engine. While the base engine doesn't boast as much raw power, the fuel economy is impressive.
Tech: Wireless Apple CarPlayⓇ and Android Auto™ are standard features; but if you prefer to use the CT4's system, it's intuitive and easy to use. The built-in navigation system is an optional feature but it’s also excellent.
Fuel Economy: The CT4 gets an EPA-estimated 24 mpg in combined city/highway driving, which is solid for a vehicle with its equipment and in its class.
What Needs Improvement
Comfort: A stiff ride ensures you'll feel most of the bumps and divots the road throws at you, which is jarring for a luxury sedan. The interior of the vehicle is also a bit cramped, especially in the back seat. And its lack of a premium feel makes the entire experience less pleasant.
