Ratings & reliability

Customer ratings

The 2013 Kia Sportage is a reliable vehicle with many built in features. The pro of the car is that it has many built in features. The con of the car is that it has low gas mileage. Customers love driving the car in bad weather because the all wheel drive is very responsive. The size of the car is very good for my Grandson. The car is easy to handle, reasonable on gas and comfortable to drive. The car is not that great a car. Wish i hadn't bought it. The car rides rough, stiff in all areas, doesn't get very good mileage, visibility is terrible. You bump your head getting into it. I have a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer that is a far superior car in ride, comfort, mileage than this KIA. The 2013 Kia Sportage is a very happy with the Sportage. The pros of the car are that it is a fun little SUV with tons of room and ample power even though its a 4cyl (175hp). The cons of the car are that the brakes are VERY touchy and a little goes a long way. The cabin noise is a little excessive compared to my '07 Camry. The ride quality is very bouncy compared to my sedan. This Sportage is a unibody and not built off a truck frame so I expected a little softer ride.
