Refreshed looks and updated powertrain
The 2015 Lincoln Navigator introduced a refreshed design from the previous model year, giving it all-new front and rear designs while retaining the rest of the previous model’s body. On top of this updated look, Lincoln also dropped the V8 powerplant and replaced it with a more potent 3.5L twin-turbo V6 borrowed from the Ford F-150. This engine bumped the output by a whopping 70 hp and 95 lb-ft of torque, making it a more pleasing daily driver. The 2015 Navigator also picked up a more refined interior with more advanced technology from this refresh.

5 reasons to buy the 2015 Lincoln Navigator
1. Plenty of room
The 2015 Lincoln Navigator’s full-size SUV body gives it tons of interior space. Inside, you’ll get three rows of seating that can accommodate up to seven people, so even your large family can fit. The 2015 Navigator’s three rows of seating aren’t like some others where only one rear row is truly useful. Both of the Navigator’s rear seating rows are functional for kids and adults alike, thanks to the second and third rows’ 39.1 inches and 37.7 inches of legroom, respectively.
2. Ample cargo space
Cargo hauling is one trait nearly all full-size SUVs share, and the 2015 Lincoln Navigator is a part of this group. If you’re hauling people in all three rows, you can still fit 18.1 cu-ft of cargo behind the rear seats. That’s plenty for a week’s worth of groceries or sports equipment. If you fold the third row, you unlock 54.4 cu-ft of cargo space. And if you’ve got a lot to haul, you can lower both rear rows and open a massive 103.3 cu-ft of cargo space.
3. Tow like a champ
The 2015 Lincoln Navigator comes with a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine in place of the 2014 model’s aging V8. This V6 engine delivers 380 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, which makes the Navigator surprisingly quick at under six seconds to 60 mph. This pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel or optional four-wheel drive. Not only is this a quick full-size SUV, but it also has an estimated 9,000-pound towing capacity when properly equipped.
4. Cloud-soft ride
You won’t find the 2015 Lincoln Navigator carving up corners on the back roads, but its soft suspension makes it quite the comfortable cruiser on the highway. This helps it glide over even the roughest roads, ensuring your daily commute is as relaxing as possible. You can take comfort further with the new-for-2015 Reserve trim’s adaptive suspension. On top of its comfy ride, the Navigator’s well-insulated cabin helps minimize road and wind noise, allowing you to really enjoy its standard 14-speaker audio system.
5. Plenty of options
The 2015 Lincoln Navigator lacks adaptive cruise control — a popular feature among its competitors — but this model year gains an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other upscale standard amenities include a 14-speaker audio system, heated and ventilated front seats, a rearview camera, blind-spot monitoring, rain-sensing wipers, BluetoothⓇ connectivity, and HD radio. The Navigator turns into a legit luxury cruiser once you add options, such as a power moonroof, rear-seat DVD system, perimeter alarm, illuminated entry with approach lamps, and adjustable pedals. To push the luxury envelope, opt for the Reserve trim, which includes a hand-wrapped leather dash and a Ziricote wood interior.
