Big, powerful, luxurious SUV
The 2017 Lincoln Navigator checks a lot of your boxes when it comes to a full-size luxury SUV. First, its massive footprint translates into a cavernous interior that can accommodate up to seven adults or loads of cargo. And all the folks inside get treated to a super-soft ride in nearly all road conditions. Finally, this big-bodied SUV comes standard with a potent 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that delivers 380 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, making this a surprisingly quick full-size people-hauler. On top of that, the Navigator’s Reserve trim puts you in the lap of luxury with higher-end materials and an even better ride.

5 reasons to buy the 2017 Lincoln Navigator
1. Plenty of interior room
The 2017 Lincoln Navigator puts its big body to good use, giving you tons of interior space to enjoy. Inside this luxury SUV are three rows of seating ready to take on up to seven people. So, even if you have a large family, you all ride in style and comfort. What really sets the 2017 Navigator apart from other three-row luxury SUVs, is it can fit adults in all three rows. You can attribute this to the Navigator’s 39.1 inches of second-row legroom and 37.7 inches of third-row legroom.
2. Loads of space for cargo
A full-size SUV must be able to haul tons of cargo too, and the 2017 Lincoln Navigator will surely please you with its cargo-hauling abilities. Even with all three rows filled with passengers, the Navigator can take on 18.1 cu-ft of cargo. That’s plenty of space for a week’s worth of groceries or the kids’ sports equipment. Lower that third row, and you get up to 54.4 cu-ft of cargo space. If you’re traveling with no passengers, you can fold both rear rows and unlock 103.3 cu-ft of cargo space.
3. Tow with the big boys
The 2017 Lincoln Navigator has a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 engine that produces 380 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque and passes it through a six-speed automatic transmission. This potent V6 powertrain makes this a surprisingly quick full-size SUV, with a zero-to-60 time of under six seconds. This powerful engine also plays a big role in the Navigator’s estimated 9,000-pound towing capacity when properly equipped.
4. Soft and quiet ride
The 2017 Lincoln Navigator is far from a performance SUV, but you’ll never complain about its soft suspension. This setup helps the Navigator glide over the roughest roads like nothing, making your daily commute like a ride in the clouds. Do you want to maximize your comfort? Upgrade to the Reserve trim, which includes an advanced adaptive suspension system. On top of its super-comfortable ride, the Navigator features ample interior insulation, which keeps the cabin peaceful and free of road and wind noise.
5. Premium options galore
The 2017 Lincoln Navigator lacks some of the more premium standard features its rivals include, but it still has much to offer you. Its list of standard equipment consists of the Sync 3 touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlayⓇ and Android Auto™ integration, heated and ventilated front seats, a rearview camera, blind-spot monitoring, rain-sensing wipers, BluetoothⓇ connectivity, and HD radio. You can add some of its more upscale optional equipment if you need more. This equipment includes a power moonroof, rear-seat DVD system, perimeter alarm, illuminated entry with approach lamps, and adjustable pedals. You get even more from the 2017 Navigator when you upgrade to the Reserve trim, which includes a hand-wrapped leather dash and a Ziricote wood interior.
