1. A classy package

Mercedes-Benz aptly calls its A220 interior a "high-style, high-tech cabin" — because it's precisely that. When it comes to tech, the A220 has intuitive digital displays, a voice interface, and handy controls on the steering wheel and console.

Comfort-wise, all four seats come wrapped in leatherette (with the option to upgrade to leather). The two front seats are heated, while the driver's side also boasts a memory seat. Together with nine color options and a sleek, sophisticated profile, the 2020 Mercedes-Benz A220 is a sedan with serious style.

For summer driving, the panoramic sunroof tilts for ventilation and slides open for those especially warm, sunny days. The sunroof is controllable with the voice system, adding a sleek, high-end touch to the driving experience.

2. All-season performance

The A220 offers a smooth, refined ride in all kinds of weather conditions thanks to its turbocharged 2.0L, four-cylinder engine delivering 188 horsepower. Even better, the A220 stands up to snow, ice, and slush. This model has both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options, the latter delivers extra confidence on slippery roads or added grip on tight curves during your summer road trip to the mountains.

3. Intuitive tech and safety controls

The 2020 A220 is, in a word, effortless. Power adjustable seats in the front, a "Hey, Mercedes" voice activation system, over-the-air automatic updates, and the Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) touch-sensitive display all work together to reduce distractions and make your drive as easy as possible. You can even set up multiple user profiles, so each driver can customize their ride at the touch of a button.

This car also comes with several added driver-assist features, including lane departure warning, blindspot monitoring, parking sensors, as well as overhead and side airbags.

4. Complete suite of infotainment options

The MBUX display is the hub of the Mercedes-Benz A220. It delivers smartphone connectivity through its Apple CarPlay^® and Android Auto^™ integrations and also features an aux cable input, AM/FM radio, satellite radio compatibility, and Bluetooth^® handsfree connectivity, among other features. 5. Flexible usage

While the A220 is a driver's car, the five-seat sedan optimizes passenger comfort and cargo space. Back passengers get 33.9 inches of legroom and 37.2 inches of headroom. That's less than the front seats (which have 41.8 and 40.3 inches, respectively), but still comfortable enough for most passengers. A bonus is the flexible 15 cubic feet of cargo space, which can expand and contract depending on rear seat configurations (40/20/40). These features pack a lot of punch into the sleek frame of a sedan.
