The base GX trim includes smart access with push-button start-stop, LED headlights and daytime running lights, a rearview camera, and a color multimedia interface with Bluetooth^® and USB smartphone connectivity. New for 2018, the mid-spec Premium trim features the available Navigation package, plus leather trim, rain-sensing wipers, heated/ventilated front seats, and tri-zone climate control. Opt for the Luxury trim for adaptive suspension.  

2. Full available packages 

The standard GX 460 trims may be piled high with features, but the available packages will delight if you're used to luxury. The Navigation package features 3D city mapping and expanded Lexus Enform connected service features.

Audiophiles will love the 17-speaker Mark Levinson^® Premium Surround Sound Audio package, and you’ll appreciate the Driver Support package with driver-assist features. The cosmetic exterior upgrades added by the Sport Design package will be noticed by those with an eye for design. 

3. It’s handy off-road 

You can cruise the highway in comfort, but the 2018 Lexus GX 460’s standard four-wheel drive system allows you to load your bike into the back and go in search of rocky trails. The engine power is sent to all four wheels all of the time, giving improved traction in every driving scenario. The downhill assist control system maintains a steady pace when driving down demanding landscapes, and both the rugged construction and 4.6L V8 engine helps the GX 460 tow an estimated 6,500 lbs, when properly equipped.

4. Flexible interior 

Whether you’re taking the kids and their gang to the cinema, or heading for a sophisticated dinner appointment, the Lexus GX 460 is your flexible friend when it comes to passengers or cargo. All up, seven people can enjoy the onboard ambience, with the available second-row captain’s chairs adding an indulgent touch. Fold the second and third-row seats to liberate 64.7 cu-ft of cargo room when you need to do a tip run — the opening glass rear hatch allows you to load smaller items without opening the rear door.  

5. A relaxed drive 

Should you be heading to the forest or crossing state boundaries, the 2018 GX 460 is a relaxed drive.
