Out on the highway, the six-speed sequential automatic transmission is smooth, and the GS 460 achieves an EPA-estimated 20 highway mpg.

With the capacity to carry seven people, the Lexus GS 460 has lots of features to wow everyone onboard. The base GX trim includes 18-inch alloy wheels, illuminated running boards, a sunroof, rear privacy glass, a rear spoiler, climate control, an eight-inch color touchscreen interface, and a sound system with two USB inputs, satellite radio, and Bluetooth^® connectivity. Select the Luxury trim for adaptive suspension with rear auto-leveling, headlamp washers, a heated and wood-trimmed steering wheel, and leather seats. Available features are plentiful, and can vary depending on region, but tri-zone automatic climate control, and outboard second-row seat heating are luxurious additions.  

4. Family-friendly cabin 

Whoever you’re traveling with, the GX 460 has useful space for them and their belongings. Seven seats mean you can take all the family, but with 29.3 inches of rear legroom, it’s kids that will be happiest in the third row. If you don’t need the third-row seats, they manually fold flat to increase trunk space, or choose the available power operation and they disappear on their own. Fold both rear rows down, and you can fit in 64.7 cu-ft of luggage.
