First generation Lexus GX 460
The GX 460 was produced for 14 years from model year 2010 to 2023, by which time the architecture and design were showing some age. However, if you're looking for an old-school luxury SUV with Lexus craftsmanship, as well as genuine off-road capability, the GX 460 is a great choice. With power from a 4.6-liter V8 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission, the GX 460 also comes with full-time four-wheel drive and the ability to go anywhere you'd likely want to go.
Like other Lexus models, the GX 460 provides a quiet cabin—perfect for enjoying the available Mark Levinson audio system. There's space for six or seven passengers in three rows, along with generally advanced technology in the infotainment system, including large touchscreens in the later model years. The GX 460 was succeeded by the GX 470 after the 2023 model year.
