The 2023 Subaru Ascent is perfect for kids' carpools, family outings, and everything in between. The Ascent comes standard with seating for eight people, but models with second-row captain's chairs seat seven. In either configuration, the Ascent has plenty of space for all your favorite people.

Even at the base-trim level, the Ascent is ready for adventure. All 2023 Subaru Ascent models have standard all-wheel drive and hill-descent control—perfect for navigating dirt roads on your next camping trip. Standard roof racks make it easy to pack your kayaks or skis while keeping the cabin clear. Have gear that's bigger? The 2023 Ascent with the standard 260-hp 2.4L four-cylinder engine can tow up to an estimated 5,000 lbs when properly equipped (Premium trim and higher).

3. Suite of driver aids

Every 2023 Subaru Ascent comes standard with a suite of driver-assistance features, giving you peace of mind that advanced technology is helping you reach your destination. The set of features, called EyeSight®, includes pre-collision braking, lane-centering, and adaptive cruise control. Additional driver aids, including blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, are available.

4. Tech at center screen

The 2023 Subaru Ascent comes standard with an 11.6-inch touchscreen that's oriented vertically rather than the more common horizontal orientation. The larger screen means bigger icons, which are easier to select when you're behind the wheel. That makes it easy to control the standard tech features, including Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, without taking your eyes off the road.

5. Available luxury touches

If you like the finer things in life, you'll love the 2023 Subaru Ascent. Luxury features, including heated leather seats (even in the back) and wood and chrome finishes, are available on some trims. An available panoramic sunroof bathes the cabin in light, while the available Harman Kardon® sound system makes all your tunes sound top-notch.
