The 2017 Audi Q7 delivers exceptional ride comfort, precise handling, and advanced technology, complemented by elegant styling and a spacious interior. While most feedback is positive, high maintenance costs, reliability issues, and fuel efficiency concerns are occasionally noted. Overall, it offers a luxurious yet practical SUV experience for buyers seeking premium features.
If you are considering a wagon or a van, but would like something a little nicer, and can get one that hasn't had its price inflated recently, you should try the 2017-2019 Audi Q7. With the supercharged V6, it isn't underpowered, like many of its siblings and rivals. It is not as fast as you might have otherwise have expected from a 350hp Audi, though. I did not get the air ride adjustable suspension, and with its run-flat tires, it doesn't handle with the exact precision I've come to expect, (from owning many previous Audis sedans.) Of course, this is all forgivable, because none of my previous Audis had a third-row, nor this much cargo space. The only reason I deducted a star was because they are significantly over-priced, even for used. Two strollers, and a bunch of beach toys, three adults and two car-seated kids, and it isn't even fazed. You may all get car-sick, though, from the ride. Also, it doesn't turn as tight in a parking-lot as, say, a Ford Edge, but it will effortlessly merge onto the freeway, with no drama, unlike most similar cars. 2017-2019 still has real buttons, not glaring smudge-screen interface.
I have been an Audi owner since 1997. Up until 2019, I prefer Audi styling over just about anything, and the 2017 Q7 looks like it is supposed to. IMHO.
Three rows. Good for kiddos.
So many bells and whistles, and 2017-2019 uses real buttons and controls, still. Yay!
Pricey.
I imagine it will be pricey to fix, if it breaks. (Par for the name-brand course.)
Power is a pro and a con here. It has enough power to keep up with the pack of similar dad-bod cars. However, having gotten used to V8-powered Audi's, this Q7 is sluggish in comparison.
Runs great handles well
