I really researched before buying a used car. I was open to all car brands within a maximum price point. I didn't think I would get the best car or deal at Carmax. But, it was competitive online, so I decided to visit in person. I was blown away by the selection and condition of the cars...they looked new! When I found my car, Carmax even let me test drive the car overnight to make sure it was right for me, with no hassle whatsoever. That sealed it for me. I got a great rate through Carmax financing and bought a low-mileage 2017 BMW X3 in pristine condition. Several months later, I'm still in love with the SUV. It looks fantastic and performs like a dream. I couldn't be happier with the car nor the service and treatment I received as a Carmax customer. Next time, I'll save myself all of that research time and go straight to Carmax! You should, too!!

Pros

Ride and Handling: Smooth and solid at any speed. Great turning radius, very responsive.
Technology and Entertainment: Love the Apple Car Play feature and all of the technology in the car. The sound system is excellent and with Car Play, I can listen to my podcasts, audiobooks, and so forth.
Styling: The BMW X3 is a beautifully designed SUV, especially inside. Everything seems well thought out and within easy reach. The cabin feels rich and elegant and makes you want to drive the vehicle.

I never expected to own a BMW. I was going to settle for another regular sedan but a friend told me I deserved to have a “grown up” car. I got the 300i GT without any prior knowledge about what it meant to have a BMW. I just knew they looked good. And it does! It looks good, drives amazing, gets decent gas mileage and turns heads. I take long trips to see family and love going on road trips and this car is perfect. I truly enjoy driving it. It really is the Ultimate Driving Experience. I would recommend any BMW to anyone who is considering it. Mind you I haven’t had my first service appointment yet and I hear they can be pretty costly so I might amend this review later. But until then this truly is the best car I’ve ever owned.

Pros

Ride and Handling: Great acceleration. I have to be mindful not to go overboard because I can get to 100 mph before I know it. Much different than my old Kia Rio. :)
Styling: The Gran Turismo was only made a few years so I feel like I have something special. I get lots of looks which is nice but it’s even nicer that it not only looks good but drives great too.

Cons

Technology and Entertainment: If anyone can figure out how to use the Bluetooth features reliably please let me know because so far it’s hit or miss. I used to think it was just me but I’m finding others have similar issues. Definitely not user friendly. But I can get over that since everything else works well.

The best part of my day is driving to and from work - I enjoy the handling and speed - it's very close to an M2 but I live in Canada and needed all wheel drive. It's the best daily driver I've ever had. It's really a two seater and I have grown kids so it's just me and the Mrs. The only complaint is that the electric steering feels kind of dead dead center. The engine is a B58 and is reliable - strange to say for a BMW. I change the oil every 6000km or twice a year when changing over my tires. I'm not sure about the new style fro 2022 but can wholeheartedly recommend the 2017 to 2021 version. Great seats, simple infotainment. It just works well. I have gotten some speeding tickets but it's been worth it.

Ride and Handling: great engine and pickup - handles very well and it's small - easy to get in and out of traffic and parking is a breeze
