What customers are saying

The 2014 Cadillac XTS is praised for its smooth ride, luxurious styling, and advanced technology, but critiques include high maintenance costs, firm handling with larger wheels, and cabin noise on rough roads. Its spacious interior and reliability attract buyers, while learning the CUE system requires effort.

Great luxury sedan for an old guy on a budget

The 2014 XTS has numerous, wonderful, and complex options. However, my model does not have many of them. Nonetheless, I really enjoy the vehicle for its comfort and drive. I have the six cylinder engine and it has excellent acceleration and more than adequate power for 70 to 80 MPH interstate driving. I am a large 70 something so comfort is important to me. Entry and egress are easy. On long trips to visit kids and grandkids, the seating is quite comfortable. The Cue System touch screen is not half as bad as it is made out to be by some of the critics. I spent about three hours parked in and outside my garage studying the numerous functions. Now, I can do everything I need to do to customize my many options.

PROS
Interior Space

very roomy for a large man

Reliability

excellent performance day after day

Ride and Handling

quite, economical, responsive, and plenty of power

CONS
Visibility

Some issues due to styling. Mid and rear posts obstruct vision but small add-on mirrors correct this.

Technology and Entertainment

It does take a little effort to learn the CUE System, but once learned it is as if the car knows who you are and when you are in it it obeys and assists you very well.
