The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze marked the vehicle's final year model in its first generation (2011-2015) before the Cruze was fully redesigned in 2016. However, the Chevrolet Cruze certainly saw plenty of updates in the time between the beginning and end of its first generation, including the introduction of a new turbocharged engine and diesel engine option, the addition of new standard and available features, and refreshed exterior styling.
The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze comes available in seven different trim configurations, giving you plenty of exciting variety to choose from. Drivers who opt for the base trim of the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze - called the 1LS trim - can look forward to standard features such as remote keyless entry, a six-speaker audio system, premium cloth front bucket seats, and more, while the 2LS trim adds features such as steering wheel-mounted cruise and audio controls, Bluetooth® hands-free phone connectivity, electronic single-zone air conditioning with an air filtration system, and a USB port. Reviews for 2015 Chevrolet Cruze
I hate it!
First, I hate that it's a 2WD. Second, you can bluetooth your phone to talk on the phone, but not to play music. All of the features and everything about this car sucks. I wish I would have selected the Hyundai Elantra or Chrysler 200 instead. I felt kind of rushed to pick a car, I guess so the guy could make a sell, and now I'm stuck with a car I absolutely HATE! RUN! Do not buy this crap!
- Visibility: I can see out of it so I guess that counts for something with this stupid car.
- Fuel Economy: Probably the only good thing about this car
- Technology and Entertainment: The technology sucks, but I was required to select a pro.
- Braking: Rough breaking and jerking
- Interior Space: Small
- Ride and Handling: Takes too long to pick up speed when accelerating
Not a large family vehicle
I love the Cruise, it's an Upgrade for me coming from a Nissan Versa. Mostly everything I like about the car. When I first read the review, people were saying how good the cabin noise is, but honestly you can practically hear everything. It's not really a big deal breaker for me to have leg space in the back seat cause I don't usually have back seat riders. But if I did that would be a deal breaker. The cruise rides smooth, good on gas, comfortable, ultimately it's a great car. I'm 30 and I'm glad I made this choice, after having my car totaled and rushing into getting a new one.
- Reliability: Newer model
- Styling: It has that silver lining. Couldn't pass it up.
- Fuel Economy: It only takes about $25 to fill, on a $1.90 per gallon
- Cabin Noise: You can pretty much hear everything.
- Interior Space: The backseat don't have much leg room
My perfect car
I've been looking for a replacement Cruze for our 2011. Since realizing Chevrolet had produced Cruze Diesels I've been looking for one. I purchased this vehicle in San Antonio's CarMax and had it shipped from St. Louis. It is everything I've been looking for and has exceeded my expectations. Since I am a fuel mileage crazy kind of guy, I've been most pleased with the mileage of the 2015 Diesel (38 around my town in local town - trips average 25 miles) and (my best so far has been 48 on a return trip from San Antonio, TX to Tionesta, PA. The car is extremely quiet, powerful, and decked out with all the options (navigation, back-up camera, leather interior, beautiful fire red exterior and sun roof. It has excellent power and braking.
- Braking: Four wheel disc brakes.
- Technology and Entertainment: Navigation, back-up camera, nine speaker Bose system.
- Value: As a used vehicle I saved over $7,000 by buy from CarMax.
