I wanted to make sure that my son had some of the additional tech features like blindspot detection and the RST had it and more.

Fuel Economy

Full size truck never has great mileage, but in the city the mileage was a little less than I was hoping for.

8 seats tons of cargo space and power. Plenty of features for the base model. Much more comfortable and smoother ride than the previous suburbans we have owned.

Spacious vehicle with lots of frills
Pros

Interior Space

Not only does it fit 8 people, but there is a lot of room when every seat is full.

Visibility

It’s easy to see all around me when I’m driving because it’s elevated. Its also more visible for other drivers to see me. It’s hard to miss a bright red suburban.
Cons

Fuel Economy

It’s a big vehicle with a big engine at a time when gas has hit big prcies

Cabin Noise

This may be linked to the specific one I purchased but there is a lot of noise coming from the driver side door when we exceed 45 mph
