2019 Chrysler 300C Platinum Hemi
This is our second Chrysler 300C, we had a black 2015 with the V6 before this car. We love the room, the style, and just how substantial these cars feel. I like the black headliner in this Platinum package A LOT more than the parchment headliner our 2015 300C had. I have not decided on the Platinum package trim itself. Our 2015 had a grey grill with bright chrome edge, chrome door handles, chrome mirrors, chrome front and rear bumper trim, and chrome badges. All those items on this 2019 are "brushed chrome", as part of the Platinum package. These will take a little getting used to, and I hope they wear well. Oh, and the Alpine stereo in the 2015 300C was good, but the Harmon Kardon setup in this 2019 is so awesome I about slept in the car the first night listening to it! I'm hoping this will be a good car for us.. I love the fact that we now own one of the last V8-powered, rear-drive BIG American sedans! I love looking over that long sculpted hood and peaked fenders from the driver's seat. In an time where everyone drives boring and bland "crossovers" that all look the same, the Chrysler 300 is a throwback...in all the best ways!

Styling
It never gets lost in a parking lot. These stand out!
Dashboard
Love the big center screen, but also love the fact that these cars have big knobs, buttons, and switches too. Easy to operate and clearly marked, does not feel like you are driving an IPad!
Ride and Handling
For such a large, heavy car these handle very well, and the ride, other than tire noise from the OEM Firestones, is very good.
CONS
Fuel Economy
The Hemi V8 is thirsty. It averages about 15mpg in town and low 20s on the highway. If economy is a concern, get the V6, which does very well in these!
Cabin Noise
These are quiet cars, but the factory Firestone tires are lousy and make a lot of thrumming sounds. Change the tires and it fixes the issue.
Reliability
Our previous 2015 Chrysler 300 was perfect for the first 3yrs and 50k miles. At 50k miles we had some issues, including a failed steering rack, clicking door hinges, warped brake rotors, and the V6 oil filter housing cracked and leaked oil. Everything but the brake rotors was covered under the extended warranty. We traded that car at 60k miles for this one at Carmax. Best advice is to buy the extended warranty, which paid for itself on our last 300. Our new 300 is almost at 20k miles now and is still perfect, no issues, but I bought a warranty for it too. Worth it.
