The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica stands out for its ample interior and cargo space, comfortable seating, and advanced entertainment features. However, customers have mixed feelings about its fuel efficiency, reliability, and inconsistent technology performance. Braking and engine power received some criticism, and overall satisfaction was varied among owners.
My minivan has been in the shop 4 times in less than 3 months of owning it for a list of problems. It's now out of warranty, but still having the same issues. Electrical: not always turning off, screen/radio doesn't always work, psi in one tire will randomly drop, battery died after only 1month, sliding door will randomly close and has closed on my kids, plus the sliding door that they already greased is creaking again. As for the actual design, it has the hardest to fold down seats are the hardest to fold compared to any other minivan. The placement of buttons on the dash aren't user friendly. You have to go through the screen menu to find the seat heaters and even to sync the a/c. I really have nothing positive to say about this vehicle
Not really a pro, but it does use less fuel than an SUV
there is an exuberant amount of space so my 6' 7" husband is comfortable no matter where he is sitting. Seats are easy to store so my large dog has plenty of space in the back to lay down.
im obsessed with the trunk. I've had little hatch backs for years and the space has been awful for groceries. this Van has a sunken trunk space when the 3rd row is up that makes hauling my Sam's club and groceries so easy. im not stressing if everything i need will fit. and if I am, 30 seconds I can lay the 3rd row down and basically have a truck bed for everything.
sometimes this van has me questioning if it's going to make it up the hill my parents live on. every now and then it acts like it's struggling after a stop light. the auto ignition that stops the engine and starts causes some issues. the van hates being in auto mode, it quickly let's me know i forgot to turn it off by either jumping while I stop and go traffic or acting weird at stop lights. and by weird I mean taking a second to fully start up or starts up too fast and acts like I've punched the gas.
mainly a complaint about the purchase. within a month of having the van it was in for warranty work as the small battery that runs the interior electronics was dying. as well when I took it in for the first oil change with me just 4 months into ownership the air filters looked they had never been changed and breaks are already starting to squeal.
