The 2017 Dodge Journey is appreciated for its interior and cargo space, smooth ride and handling, and affordability. My son is 6 years old and having the DVD player while traveling, keeps him occupied and quiet during trips.
Of course it is an SUV so it does burn a lot of gas when traveling.
seats are comfortable and nice and they are spread out inside so plenty of family or people can sit inside the car seats
there isn’t noise inside the car from the engine or anything else to the car
I mainly drive my vehicle "city miles" and I'm getting anywhere from 17-19 MPG. I've drove it on the highway only a couple times and the MPG was slightly higher than that, but again I mainly drive it on city streets (lot of stop and go).
The rear hatch area, with the 3rd row down, is large enough to fit 2 regular sized totes, 1 smaller collapsible tote, and a cooler for grocery shopping. As far as feet space in the when the 3rd row is up, it's a bit small for an adult, but perfect for smaller children, possibly even teenagers. The 2nd row has fairly decent amount of leg room for adults. Driver and passenger seat have plenty of room. my brother is 6' 3" and had plenty of space, comfortably, whole driving my car.
For an I-4 this Journey has some decent amount of power. Although when they did an initial check of the vehicle the air filter was completely full of debris and whatnot, but that was a cheap fix for me. And I even notice a little improvement in power after replacing.
