Made in the South, a groundbreaking series classic
1998 Ford ExplorerMarlette Torras - Polson, MT09/29/2015
Buyers of older used vehicles have an important dillema to solve first: how can they expect to deal with the expense and inconvenience of inevitable repairs? In the seminal series of the Ford Explorer, transformational electronics were added about 1996, with a diagnostic display from a trip computer. This gave the driver an advantage of calculating their mileage and MPG, checking tire pressure , etc.. All the new owner has to do is look at the mileage and then the milestone chart for maintenance, and calculate the risks. Everything still works in my vehicle, but I have put only one major ($550.00) and one minor repair on it in a year.
Awesome Vehicle My Second Home
2015 Ford ExplorerMoni G - Chicago, IL06/28/2015
This vehicle has the fun factor with all the feature comforts. Heated Cool seats provides for comfort in any temperature, especially with an all black interior. The remote start even controls the heated and cooled seats. Mirror placement gives you good visibility along with the rear view camera. Kid friendly, yet the middle row seating is roomy enough 3 medium size adults. The cargo area is spacious even with the third row seating up, with extra space under the 3rd row. Compared to the Highlander, the Highlander cargo space is extremely limited. Good traction in the snow. Navigation allows you to avoid tolls, best traffic route, and adjust for fuel economy. This vehicle is my second home.
LOVE My New (used) Car
2013 Ford ExplorerDeb Fizer - Wilmington, NC08/13/2016
Since owning this car, I have fallen totally in love with it. It starts with the navigation screen/siriusxm/Ford's sync system. I love having everything automated, with the ability to set the time the doors lock, amount of time the lights stay on after I shut the car off, which doors unlock when I hit the key....love having that in my control. The comfort and heated seats are beyond Luxury. The sun and moon roof, I love the feel of the open air when I drive at night. The 3rd row seats can take my kids and all of their friends to the movie, the beach and/or on a road trip with plenty of room for all. I love my 4wd so we can drive on the beach as a family with all of our surfing gear and beach toys. I can pull my boat. LOVE IT!!
