2013 Ford FiestaWillie Greggs - Houston, TX12/14/2015
Transmission was made with Sub-standard parts. I've had the car for 5 months and it has been in the shop three times for the following reasons:
The transmission was making a loud clacking noise, hesitation when driver accelerated. (Ford dealership informed us that an electric transmission was installed in the 2013 Ford Focus and Fiesta, worse decision ever.
Car stalled on my 17 yr old daughter in route to school (transmission)
Passenger door jam and would not close on daughter at school, coaches had to strap door close to seat in order to get her home. Transmission jerks while driving..I cant believe that CarMax. would even have these vehicles on their lots to sale to a trusting consumer...
NIce on gas mileage, and fun to drive (Stick)
2013 Ford FiestaYvette Garza - Livingston, CA10/24/2015
This car was great on gas mileage. I had the terrible experience of an accident. The airbags deployed, both steering wheel, and knee. The car was totaled. I walked away with a gash under my thumb, and bruises. So, with that said, it's was my sons car, who is 18. We bought another Ford Fiesta for him, just because of the safety features. Gas mileage is a plus.
Basic and not user friendly
2013 Ford FiestaShana Edwards - Tigard, OR07/03/2016
This car is not user friendly in any way. The only thing that is easy to operate is the cruise control and volume of the radio. The SYNC system hardly ever works and will not connect my phone 9 times out of 10. I also cannot use any of the voice controls; every time I try to call someone it thinks I'm telling it to call Jose. (???) The transmission on the car always jerks me around when changing from first to second or second to third. The car also always sounds like there is a piece of metal scraping a piece of plastic whenever it is moving, and the brakes always screach. When I took it in, they said "those are normal sounds to hear with that specfic car". Who wants a car that always sounds like its breaking?
