Summarized by Skye

The 2017 Genesis G80 impresses with its serene cabin, smooth handling, and ample cargo space. However, its fuel efficiency and long-term reliability have room for improvement. Ideal for those seeking a quiet and spacious luxury car without the high price tag of European models.

2017 Genesis G80
Nice car but has had a lot of issues.
Pros

Cabin Noise

It’s very quiet inside the car.

Interior Space

Not too cramped but not too open. I love the interior.

Technology and Entertainment

Has a lot of modern technology. It even has a heads up display.
Cons

Reliability

Have had the transmission go out, electronic issues, interior creaking, and weird infotainment problems. All this happened within the first 3 months of ownership.

Cost to Maintain

I bought it because it’s basically a Hyundai but it’s so unreliable.

Value

You’re better off getting an s class with better technology for cheaper and spending the extra money on a warranty.
