Great little car

It is fully loaded, is quiet on the road, pretty good gas mileage for city driving. Seats are comfortable and you don't feel squished like most small cars. Has great maneuverability and amazing safety features. I love the full sunroof and the mood lighting on the speakers, and also love the large screen for the back up camera. One of the most useful features is the seat coolers. The blue tooth was easy to pair and lights at the bottom of the car are very helpful when stepping out of my vehicle at night.

  • Value: Was a great deal.
  • Dashboard: Dashboard is easy to navigate and read, voice activated controls help me to keep eyes on the road.
  • Cabin Noise: Much quieter than other Kia Souls

  • Weather Versatility: The vehicle is still pretty light and doesn't handle bad weather on the interstate as well as I would hope

I owned a Honda CRV for 15 years, and loved it. I had planned on purchasing another CRV, until I started seeing the KIA Souls on the road for the past couple of years. The Soul is just a cool looking vehicle, it's smart, compact, but surprisingly every bit as roomy as the CRV. I thought the vehicle would be too low to the ground, however, once I test drove it, it was not much different than my CRV. It drives, in my opinion, very like a baby SUV. What I love about the Soul is that it is made for techies who love their sound systems. Amazing sound in my soul (and in my soul). :) There is lots of room in the hatchback and tons of room in the seating area. I love this vehicle! It is more than I thought it would be!

  • Cabin Noise: Very quiet ride.
  • Technology and Entertainment: Love the sound system and dashboard for storing my electronics, especially when traveling.
  • Styling: I love the look of this vehicle. It's smart and on trend.

Great vehicle at a great price!

The pros are that it drives like a 6 cylinder, but is a 4 cylinder, the visibility is very good since you're sitting up higher and the seats are "hip-high," the A/C is so easy to operate with the 3 turn knobs; the driver doesn't have to take his/her eyes off the road, plenty of leg and head room for front and back seat passengers, and a great cargo area. It just feels good the minute you get into it and start driving it. It has plenty of get-up and go for a 4 cylinder and gets good gas mileage, also. This really is a functional and beautiful vehicle, well thought-out and practical design. The cons are that the side door panels seem a little too high making it difficult to change lanes.

  • Visibility: Helps to maintain a good look out all around.
  • Cargo Space: Plenty of cargo space for hauling groceries and household items. Cargo space holds much more than it looks like, with fold-down seats.
  • Reliability: It seems like a well-made vehicle so far, and is fully backed by Carmax's maintenance plan.

  • Technology and Entertainment: Would like a built-in CD player.
  • Ride and Handling: A little bit of a jumpy start at first after idling.
  • Safety: Driver's side-view mirror mounted too high creating a blind spot. Driver's side door panel a little too high making it difficult to change lanes. Passenger's side head rest too big and tall making it difficult to see around when changing lanes.
