I not only would recommend the car but I would recommend CarMax experience. Everything thing was done professionally and well. I hope to NEVER buy a car from a dealer again. they're too pushy about buying extras. I really like everything(except the city gas milage) about my Sportage EX Loaded auto I purchased. I like the safety features, the comfort, the electronics, the Apple Car Play, the speakers, the look, the handling, the ride, the cargo space and the safety and reliability. This is my 3rd and favorite Kia. I would definitely buy another Kia if it has a hybrid model next time.

Pros

Technology and Entertainment: Love the large screen navigation and music features of Apple CarPlay.
Reliability: I found in several magazines and websites that the reliability is very good for the 2020 model, and I had 2 other Kia Sportage autos.
Ride and Handling: It rides and handles well. The safety features make it very practical.

Fuel Economy: The fuel economy in the city is not good.

Kids and jobs are gone, but we still are very active, like road trips, and have a house and yard to maintain. The Kia Sportage is the perfect mix of size, fuel economy, and capabilities. We've owned many vehicles, from as small as a Miata to as large as a 1-ton truck. Now that we're retired, we downsized to just one car. The Sportage is small enough that my wife enjoys driving it and large enough for me to easily get in and out and carry loads of stuff from Home Depot. It is comfortable and quiet on the highway. Of the many navigation systems that we have used, the Kia nav is the most intuitive. The all-wheel drive makes driving on snow a cinch. What we especially like are the rows of dashboard buttons. Our previous car had a 10-inch LCD console that required multiple taps to do basic functions, and could only be used when sun glare didn't obscure the screen. Turning on seat heaters on an interstate highway while traveling at 70 mph, next to large trucks was a nightmare. Now we can tell with just a glance which controls are on or off, and can change settings by feel, without looking away from the road. We love our Sportage!
