My second Kia Sportage

My wife and I were driving on an Interstate when a car crossed the median at hit us causing our Sportage to roll over twice. Air bags deployed and we ended up with only some bruises. Our car was totaled. I was so impressed with the safety of this vehicle that I went back to Carmax and and bought another 2014 Kia Spotage.

Pros

  • Value: excellent car for the money
  • Technology and Entertainment: has everything I need
  • Seat Comfort: Very comfortable on long trips

Cons

  • Visibility: a few bling spots

Add me to the Sportage fan club!

Perfect for my daily commute - handles well, plenty of power for getting around, well appointed, and gets good mileage (27-28 combined) in ECO mode. Roomy enough with the seats down to bring home 10 bags of mulch from the local hardware store. I consider this to be the hatchback I have always wanted, with the added advantage of a higher ride height.

Pros

  • Power: Plenty of get up and go, even in ECO mode
  • Fuel Economy: Great mileage for a vehicle of this weight and power
  • Value: Right in the sweet spot of cost versus features

Cons

  • Cabin Noise: Lots of wind noise from the side mirrors at highway speed.

Great 4 wheel drive vehicle

This was the perfect car for me. Great size for 4 adults. Comfortable for travel. Caution: If the window tag states it is a 4 wheel drive be sure to check for the button! First car stated it was 4 wheel drive, but it was not.

Pros

  • Braking:
  • Ride and Handling:
  • Seat Comfort:
