2024 Lexus RZ 450e
Beautiful EV but NO range
Pros

Ride and Handling

smooth ride and night-time mood lighting makes it enjoyable to drive at night.

Power

accelerates smoothly and rapidly
Cons

Fuel Economy

2024 RZ450e is electric but it only provides 200 miles of range. Great to drive in the city but battery drains quickly on highway.

Dashboard

too many clicks to get to specific menu items. if you're on the phone and use the GPS at the same time you have to click to different screen to hang up call.

Technology and Entertainment

unless you use apple music or Amazon music, you can't fully link your phone to the car.

2023 Lexus RZ 450e
Outstanding Performance, But ...
Pros

Power

All the get-up-and-go you'll ever need.

Reliability

It's a Lexus, perhaps the most reliable vehicle available here. No issues whatsoever, save for mileage range.

Ride and Handling

Smooth, comfortable ride. Typical Lexus performance.
Cons

Cost to Maintain

Mileage range is well below expectations. At 100% charge, my max is 178 miles, down from 209. Lexus claims nothing wrong, refuses to acknowledge the issue.

Visibility

There is no rear wiper. Driving during rainstorms is precarious at best. Also no glove compartment.

Seat Comfort

Seats are upholstered in man-made suede; no option for leather.
