I wanted a car that was safe, fairly quick, and not completely boring to look at or drive. It's been super reliable. It's never left me on the side of the road, and it's never given me any sort of trouble even on 10+ hour long road trips. I was super skeptical about the CVT, but I think Nissan has done a good job (at least with this model year) of making it feel good - although it still does kind of sound like you're killing it under hard acceleration. I have noticed that as it has gotten older, there are a few more rattles and squeaks, but that I am willing to accept that as being caused by awful in-town Atlanta roads. Still, an awesome car that is well worth the money!
During the first 30 days of my limited warranty, I took it back to CARMAX twice for a
vibration that seemed to be coming from the drive train but they couldn't reproduce at the time. Since I am no longer under warranty the vibration has gotten noticeably worse and it does it at low RPM all of the time.....very frustrating. I have not taken it back to CARMAX since I no longer have any warranty.
Excellent vehicle at first glance!

I like the exterior looks of the car, spacious interior, and fuel economy. Now for the cons! The vehicle has a CVT, which I personally do not enjoy. The car feels sluggish from a stop, and I believe it takes away from the sporty potential that the vehicle has. The electronics in this vehicle have had many issues. The radio broke within one week of purchase around 19000 miles. The lights in the cabin work intermittently, and the power window features have also been working intermittently. The entire hydraulic braking system had to be replaced around 19000 miles as well. The vehicle has rough handling above 50 mph, and on long highway trips you have to really "drive" the vehicle on the highway. All in all, I would avoid this car!!
