The 2014 Nissan Versa Note excels in fuel efficiency and interior space, offering value and practicality for compact car buyers. While praised for its affordability, reliability, and smooth ride, customers noted drawbacks in its power, outdated technology features, and cabin noise on highways, highlighting a mixed sentiment ideal for short-distance, budget driving.
this was a very affordable car and I pay very little in gas
it is surprisingly spacious for a small car.
I get decent enough mileage on this car
this car is terrifying in the winter. windows ice up very easily while driving and the defrost is useless at highway speeds, when it is needed the most.
This car takes a significant amount of time to get to speed. On the highway it is horrible. I mean, I guess I’ll never get a speeding ticket, but it’s awful.
there a bunch of blind spots that take a while to adjust to. Not a huge deal and nothing bad has happened, but the visibility could be a lot better. Again, the defrost is useless in cold temps at highway speeds.
amazing on gas
great space for a small car
sold me a car that had issues and noises when accelerating and starting.
sold me a car with bad brakes.
sold me a car with a bad transmission, bad suspension and problems with acceleration.
The gas mileage is fantastic. $25 to fill up the entire take and get almost 300 miles is fanstatic
Easy to drive. Its like a go cart. Simple. Any one can do it.
IF YOU HAVE THE PACKAGE for entertainment and such, its fine, but not the greatest. And i would NOT RECOMMEND buying the one they offer to add to it. Add your own somewhere else, cause the quality is fine but not where most people would like it to be these days. BUT if you can only afford their add on option, then so be it, like i said, its fine. Not the worst. But dodge has sound systems down WAYYYYY better. Even in the mom vehicles (journeys)
Reliable... Not so much. I have had this car in the shop MORE THAN I HAVE OWNED IT. Which is LESS than 6 months.
Definitely not great for the weather. It doesn't stay warm well in the winter weather. Its hard to see out the Windows when its raining with the way its built. It doesnt like to drive in snow or rain or ice either. So would not recommend for any north states or cold states. Just keep it down in the south. BUT it rust A WHOLE LOT if its near a lot of rain, ice melt, ocean etc. Overall its not just not great with any weather....
Value.. a joke. Its not worth the price it cost. Not ever. This car in general, should NEVER be more than 10,000 NEW. Once used.. i would pay MAYBE 6000 for it. Its not worth it. Not worth the hassle or the problems. Nothing. dont recommend. BUT nissan does have a bunch of other RELIABLE cars. This was just their fluke of them all and thankfully the Notes are no longer made.
