Great car, great mileage

Have a Forester 2.5I. Took a long distance vacation this summer and got 31 mpg on the highway. In the city gas mileage is pretty consistently 25-26 mpg. Really like the all wheel drive in the winter.

Pros

  • Value: Great dependable vehicle for the money.
  • Power: acceleration is okay but it is no sports car.

Good car!

2018 is a big step up from the 2003 we used to own, but the 2019 has apple car play which I wish I had known! There are a few other tech bits that seem outdated for how new the car is, but it drives great and is incredibly sturdy. We (unfortunately) had a big tree branch fall on our roof, and the Roo withstood it with ease!

Pros

  • Fuel Economy: Car can go for a long time without refueling, even in the city!
  • Power: Very peppy.
  • Seat Comfort: Husband is 6'1" and is able to stretch comfortable while driving and in the passenger seat.

Cons

  • Braking: Braking is a bit stronger than I'm used to.
  • Technology and Entertainment: A 2018 car still having its own navigation system was surprising. Our iPhones often don't connect to the system on the first try either.
  • Visibility: More blind spots than the 2003.
