Reviews for 2015 Toyota Venza

Overall Rating

4.7 out of 5 (6 reviews)

Great value

Having six-cylinders and the extra weight from four-wheel drive give me a strong sense of safety and security. It has been an adjustment to drive a somewhat larger vehicle, but after a few weeks, I was completely comfortable.

Pros

  • Ride and Handling: My Venza is very responsive and does everything I've asked it to do.
  • Seat Comfort: This is so comfortable for me, as well as taller family members who borrow it.
  • Reliability: I anticipate excellent reliability, based upon ratings and reviews.

Cons

  • Visibility: I'm still adjusting to the side-view mirrors that have the extra mirror that shows the driver what is in their blind spot.
  • Fuel Economy: Not quite as good as expected for in-town driving
  • Cargo Space: For it's size, it does not seem as spacious as one would expect from the appearance. It does hold a lot, and is plenty for me!

Reasons to Buy a Venza

It's a Camry wagon, basically, and anyone who wants that sort of car should consider it. It has room for two bicycles and lots of luggage for the two of us (kids are grown and gone) and rides like a car, not a truck.

Pros

  • Interior Space: We wanted the smallest car possible with room for bicycles and luggage. Venza is perfect.
  • Cabin Noise: Extremely quiet at highway speed.
  • Power: ^ cyc has a lot of power; zooms on and off ramps, flies down the NJTP.

Wonderful experience buying a car

First time buying a used car and Carmax made it so easy. Lana was wonderful. She asked a few question about what I was looking for and we started the journey. We found the perfect vehicle and set it all up easily. Appraised my old car and gave me a good amount for it that I used as a down payment to reduce how much I owed on my new vehicle. Wonderful experience and would do it again.

Pros

  • Value: Great to get a year old vehicle at such a lower price than a new year model
  • Cargo Space: Great for my two dogs
  • Power: V6 is wonderful

Cons

  • Fuel Economy: Cost more because it's a v6 but I knew that going into it.
