This was a good value for the money. It had just over 10,000 miles on it and is loaded. It has every option we could need except for Homelink and Navigation. A spare clicker and Waze met those needs. The car is fun to to drive and the Turbo Charged 2.0 L has plenty of power. If you are not careful when starting off, you can easily spin the tires. We traded another popular 2 seater convertible for this one and while we did not sacrifice the fun factor, we gained in the "comfort" factor. We are averaging in the mid 20's on miles per gallon for city.
I absolutely loveee my car! this is my first car and I always dreamed of having a beetle of my own. The car has a great fit for a 5'6, southern belle like myself, if you have concerns with the comfort of the car, no worries! My boyfriend is 6'3 and weigh over 200 pounds, he's quite comfortable in the passenger seat but loves driving her just as much as me. LOL The aux is by far the best feature to me, Im a complete music lover! The interior design is beautiful, I get a lot of cool air with a/c. only minor issue I have is a high pitch squeak when I roll down the driver side window. Usually takes only $20 to fill my tank up which is a bonus. but in all I absolutely love my car, I would hope to grow old with her and drive her forever.
I always loved the Bettle retro design and the quality of VW interior. I drove golf and passat station wagon for the last 15 years. So I went for the Beetle this time. I am greatly disappointed! If you are short and with small feet (61/2, not that small!) you will have hard time adjusting to the break and gas pedals. Shifting to break takes longer, as the break is further to the left and is very high comparing to the gas pedal. Since I am 5'3" i struggle to have comfortable position in a deep seat, and reach to pedals in the same time. I have to drive with the pillow behind my back!! And I don't see well out of the car! Review mirrors are designed to be pretty but they are too big and they blocked my view on several occasions.
Nothing compares to the feeling of the wind whipping your hair back as you cruise in a well-built convertible. Well, almost nothing—the feeling of getting a great deal on your vehicle purchase is definitely a close second. You can enjoy both of these awesome sensations at the same time by selecting a high-quality convertible that sells for less than $20,000.
