Great Used Car
Great on gas mileage and very quick. The cargo area is large for a small car. There is a sport mode that makes you burn more gas but is very fun. A couple of items don't work. I think that is from a previous accident. They are the side mirror defrost and the front collision sensors.

Fuel Economy
39 miles to the gallon is great in todays economy. It is very light so it still has very good acceleration.
Power
It is has a sport mode that is great for passing.
Cabin Noise
Vey quiet inside and the engine does not make any loud sounds,
CONS
Ride and Handling
The shocks need to be upgraded. Bumpy roads can be rough on your backside.
Braking
The brakes are very sensitive. The brakes sound rough when wet.
Cargo Space
It is a compact car so space is limited so it would not be recommended as a family car.

I bought the car and was able to take it immediately for a cross country trip, the R trim comes with AWD and many safety features. The trip was painless and the features made it a joy, really amazing car.

Golf R is expensive, but still cheaper than an Audi.
