5 reasons to buy the 2014 BMW M6
1. Huge power
The heart of the 2014 BMW M6 is a twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8. It produces an epic 560 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque. The M6 will hit 60 mph in around 3.7 seconds (according to the manufacturer, when new). That's a lot, and from the moment you start the engine on your first test drive, you'll be pretty impressed.
2. Luxury interior
Cruising to your favorite destination is more comfortable in the 2014 M6. Luxury comes standard with features like leather upholstery, 16-way power heated front seats with memory function, ambient lighting, and dual-zone automatic climate control. If you go with the coupe, you can find a sunroof or carbon-fiber roof, while the convertible gets a glass rear window that can also be raised as a wind blocker with the top down.
3. Performance upgrades
Great power comes with the need for great control, and the 2014 M6 has you covered. You'll get standard 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive suspension dampers, and impressive brakes. If you want more, check out the Competition package that adds an upgraded exhaust system (with an 15 additional hp), lightweight alloy wheels, and revised tuning for the suspension, steering, and rear differential.
4. Luxury upgrades
The standard M6 is anything but standard, with tons of great luxury and convenience features included. But there's more if you want it through some of the available packages. Check out the Executive package, which includes LED headlights with automatic high beams, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, a head-up display, front seat massage functionality, and a rear sunshade (coupe only).
5. Tech too
Check out the standard tech features like Bluetooth® phone and streaming audio, a 10.2-inch display, a rearview camera, a navigation system with voice commands, and a 16-speaker surround-sound audio system. You can add driver aids with the Driver Assistance package (requires Executive package), which includes automatic high-beam control, a lane-departure warning system, a blind-spot monitor, and an upgraded camera system.
