Sleek and sporty compact SUV

The 2024 BMW X2 stands out with its bold, sporty design. This is still a small SUV but it’ll turn heads with its distinctive style. For 2024, there’s more space thanks to a fresh design, making the X2 more practical than ever. The coupe-like profile has a tapered roofline, a muscular front end, and a chunky rear that looks great with the optional quad exhaust tips and rear spoiler.

5 reasons to buy the 2024 BMW X2

1. Dynamic driving experience 

The X2 comes in two different trims: xDrive28i and M35i xDrive. Both come standard with all-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmission. Where things differ, however, is in the engine. The xDrive28i is powered by a 241-hp 2.0L turbo engine that can achieve zero to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds. If you want something a little sportier, the M35i offers a 312-hp 2.0L turbo engine that’s good for a zero-to-60 sprint of 5.2 seconds. This model also comes standard with adaptive dampers and sports steering for increased handling and precision.  

2. Premium interior 

As you might expect from BMW, you get premium features and luxury touches throughout. As standard you get Veganza faux leather across the supportive and comfortable seats. The sleek dashboard gives the 2024 BMW X2 a high-tech look that feels nicely upscale. 

3. High-tech features 

The 2024 X2 has an incredible curved dash alongside a 10.7-inch infotainment touchscreen. With the BMW iDrive software, this means you can customize the screen to your needs. It also allows for wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, ensuring you can stay connected to your favorite playlists and podcasts. There’s also an available driving assistance feature that offers hands-free driving at slow speeds.  

4. Bold styling 

You’d be forgiven for mistaking the 2024 X2 for a sports coupe. While the X2 certainly has presence, its sloping roofline and chunky details give it a sportier look than your typical family SUV. The 2024 redesign made it slightly larger with more legroom. Up front, you’ll get 40.3 inches while backseat passengers get 36.7 inches of legroom. Despite the sloping roofline, you’ll also get 25.3 cu-ft of cargo space.  

5. Balanced performance 

Despite two powerful engine options, the BMW X2 manages balanced performance. For the 241-hp xDrive28i models, you’ll get an EPA-estimated 28 mpg combined.

For the more powerful M35i models, this drops slightly to an EPA-estimated 26 mpg combined.
