Available in two- and four-door body styles, the Rubicon tackles wild territory while riding on 17-inch wheels and heavy-duty front and rear axles with shorter gearing. Electric front and rear locking differentials and a disconnecting front sway bar also come standard, helping the Wrangler maximize its off-road capability.

A 285-hp 3.6L V6 comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission or an optional eight-speed automatic, or you can opt for the available turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder with 270 hp and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Both variants offer a mild-hybrid eTorque system on 2020 Sahara trim levels to enhance fuel economy and energy-generation functions. A 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel will come available on mid-2020 models and deliver 260 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque.
