2023 Chevrolet Express 2500 review

1. Multiple powertrain options 

The engine equipped as standard in the 2023 Express 2500 is quite robust, featuring a 4.3L V6 producing 276 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. If you need a bit more grunt, check out the available 6.6L V8 that makes 401 horsepower and is paired with a six-speed automatic. Regardless of your needs, there is a great engine option to choose from on the 2023 Express 2500.  

2. Great for hauling 

Your next van should be able to handle whatever load you throw at it. Whether you are loading up a big delivery, or taking a big group down to the river to go tubing, the 2023 Express 2500 has got you covered. The cargo version offers an estimated payload capacity of up to 3,280 pounds, while the passenger van can accommodate approximately 2,550 pounds. It's easy to see how the Express 2500 can enhance hauling for your business or organization. 

3. Seating for up to 15 passengers 

Short of a bus, you're not going to find a much better passenger hauler than the Express 2500. The LS trim level not only seats up to 15 people, but it has larger tinted windows, as well as additional rear air-conditioning and heat. So, a church group, tour group, or supersized family will be able to ride in comfort to your next destination or getaway in the 2023 Chevrolet Express 2500.  

4. Loads of towing capability 

If you are looking to haul more than what you can carry inside your van, look no further than the 2023 Express 2500. The cargo version with the V6 engine will deliver an estimated 7,400 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped.

That number jumps to an estimated 10,000 pounds with the V8 engine. The passenger version can haul a bit less but it's still an impressive estimated 6,700 pounds (V6) and 9,600 pounds (V8), all when properly equipped. So, if you need to tow a big load to a job site, or just need to bring the boat along with a load of passengers, the Express 2500 has got you covered.  

5. Available comfort and convenience features 

The Express 2500 isn't all business. It has a great list of available features and options to look for. You'll find an optional sliding door to help passengers get in and out, power front seats, an upgraded audio system with Bluetooth® integration, parking sensors, and a blind spot warning system, just to name a few.
