5 reasons to buy the 2021 Ford F250
1. Many configurations to choose from
The 2021 Ford F250 Super Duty pickup is offered in three cab configurations: a regular cab, a Super Cab, and a crew cab. Likewise, this truck is available in two cab lengths (6.8 or 8.2 feet) to accommodate your hauling needs. From there, the 2021 F250 is available in an array of six trim levels: the base XL, the XLT, the Lariat, the King Ranch, the Platinum, and the range-topping Limited.
2. Capable engine offerings
Depending on configuration and trim, the 2021 F250 is also available in three different powertrain options. The standard engine is a 6.2L V8 at 385 hp, which is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. A 7.3L V8 at 430 hp is also available on some trims and is coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Finally, there's the turbocharged 6.7L diesel V8 (475 hp), which also comes with a 10-speed automatic.
3. Excellent towing capacity
Looking for a full-size pickup that doesn't skimp on towing capacity? The 2021 Ford F250 can tow up to 13,300 pounds when properly equipped.
This makes the 2021 F250 a great choice for those who do a lot of heavy towing of trailers, campers, or other vehicles. Meanwhile, all trims except for the base XL are equipped with a standard integrated trailer brake controller for greater control while towing.4. Ample standard features
In addition to its rugged power and capable towing/hauling, the 2021 F250's interior is generously equipped for a pickup truck. Even on its base XL trim, you'll find such niceties as a convenient USB-C port for easy device charging, a 4.2-inch display screen, and a 40/20/40 split bench seat. Stepping up to the Platinum trim will yield you even more modern features, including smartphone integration, a driver-assistance suite (with adaptive cruise control), and an eight-inch touchscreen display.
5. Spacious interior
Regardless of the cab configuration you’ll select, the 2021 F250 boasts a surprisingly spacious cabin. With seating for anywhere from three to five passengers (depending on cab size), there's plenty of room for everybody to stretch out. For added comfort, opt for a Lariat model or above, which is equipped with power-adjustable front seats.
