5 reasons to buy the 2022 Honda Passport
1. Powerful V6 engine
A midsize SUV like the 2022 Honda Passport needs enough power behind it to suit every occasion – whether it's commuting, a road trip, or filling the car with sports gear for a big game. Fortunately, the Passport comes with a 3.5 L V6 engine that produces 280 hp, enabling it to do everything it needs to do in town and country alike. The 2022 Honda Passport reaches highway speeds quickly, even when fully loaded with people and luggage, and the ride is comfortable. Available in FWD or with AWD, the engine manages an EPA-estimated 22 combined mpg, which is decent for a vehicle of this size.
2. New features for 2022
One of the most exciting elements of the 2022 Honda Passport is how many features were added for 2022. Not only was the exterior styling refreshed, but the TrailSport trim was added to the lineup while Sport and Touring trims were removed. The TrailSport version of the 2022 Honda Passport, sandwiched between the EX-L and the Elite, introduces a variety of features including LED fog lights, rear sunshades, a navigation system, and a 120-volt power outlet, making it perfect for camping trips.
3. Seriously roomy
The 2022 Honda Passport features tons of space, making it both comfortable and practical. It accommodates five across two rows in supportive seats with leather upholstery as standard. There's a generous 40.9 inches of legroom in the front and 39.6 inches of legroom in the back, meaning even taller passengers have plenty of space. Behind the passengers, there's 41.2 cu-ft of cargo space or 77.7 cu-ft. with the rear seats folded, which is enough for stacks of luggage, sports equipment, or particularly heavy shopping trips. To make piling things into the trunk even easier, the 2022 Honda Passport features a power liftgate as standard.
4. Great driver aids
The 2022 Honda Passport comes with some really useful driver aids that make trips more comfortable and peaceful, even during long or challenging journeys. This iteration of the Passport features automatic high-beam headlights, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, and front and rear parking sensors as standard. There's also a rear seat reminder, which ensures animals and children can't be left behind in the back seat.
5. Three trims
With the removal of the Sport and Touring trims and the addition of TrailSport, there are a solid three choices for the 2022 Honda Passport. EX-L is the base version of this vehicle and includes an eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ connectivity, wireless device charging, available remote start, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a seven-speaker stereo.
TrailSport adds navigation, ambient lighting, and some style features like orange accent stitching and roof rails, and the Elite adds an available Wi-Fi hotspot, heated rear seats, and hands-free power liftgate. Each trim includes a generous roster of amenities so there's something to suit everybody.Shop with your budget in mind
