5 reasons to buy the 2016 Infiniti Q70
1. Capable engines
The significant muscle under its hood is among the strongest points of the 2016 Infiniti Q70. It’s offered with an engine lineup that delivers a hefty performance punch and brings an exciting driving experience. The standard powertrain includes a 3.7L V6 engine with 330 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque, while the other available gasoline-only option comes with an even stronger, 420-hp 5.6L V8. There is also a hybrid model powered by a 3.5L V6 in combination with a 50-kW electric motor getting its energy from two lithium-ion batteries, for a total output of 360 hp.
2. Refined cabin
Not only is the 2016 Infiniti Q70 fun to drive, but it’s also exciting to ride in it as a passenger. This is because of the upscale cabin that is furnished with a series of amenities and premium materials. It comes standard with heated, power-adjustable front seats, along with leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Driver memory settings, a wood interior trim, and dual-zone automatic climate control are also part of the standard equipment.
3. Plenty of tech features
The 2016 Infiniti Q70 is equipped with a series of standard tech features to keep passengers connected while on the road. A couple of the most noteworthy features are the seven-inch infotainment display and Bluetooth® phone connectivity. On top of that, there is a six-speaker audio system, a USB port, and satellite radio.
4. Ample cargo space
Even though it’s a midsize sedan that doesn’t seem too utilitarian at first sight, the 2016 Infiniti Q70 still has a decent functional aspect to it. It comes with sufficient room for cargo to meet most of your regular hauling needs, such as grocery shopping, carrying your kids’ soccer or other sporting equipment, and even enough luggage for a short family trip. There is a 14.9-cu-ft trunk for that, which is typically a good number for a vehicle of its size and body style.
5. Abundant room for passengers
Passengers can make themselves comfortable in the 2016 Infiniti Q70, with a cabin that’s spacious and well-designed. There is plenty of room even for taller passengers not to feel cramped during longer rides, and the seats are wide and supportive and lined with nice materials. Those sitting in the front get 39.1 inches of headroom and 44 inches of legroom, with rear head- and legroom measuring 37.7 inches and 36.2 inches, respectively.
