Jaguar E-Pace
The E-Pace was Jaguar’s subcompact crossover SUV, representing the entry point into the legendary British marque’s lineup, though it didn’t feel entry-level. Exterior styling clearly fits with Jaguar's heritage, offering bold fenders, swept-back LED headlights, and the classic Jaguar logo at the center of its stylish grille. The elegant cabin came replete with high-quality materials and comfortable seating, although the rear seat was a bit tight for larger passengers. An 11.4-inch display screen, along with a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, was added in 2019, giving a high-tech vibe to the cabin, with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ included as standard features.

First generation Jaguar E-Pace
Just one year after Jaguar joined the SUV fray with its all-new F-Pace, the British company added the more affordable compact E-Pace to the lineup. With similar styling to its larger sibling, Jaguar hoped the E-Pace would capitalize on the F-Pace’s popularity. Clearly recognizable as a Jaguar, the E-Pace boasted an upscale cabin with ample room for front- and rear-seat passengers, though the sloped roofline limited rear-seat headroom. A 10-inch infotainment display was standard at launch, and in 2019, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® were added. Multiple trims were initially offered, but by 2021, the lineup had been simplified to just three trims, all of which came with leather cabin accents, a new 11.4-inch display, and a range of driver-assistance systems.
When the E-Pace came to market, it was offered with two 2.0-liter turbocharged engines. While the standard powertrain delivered 246 horsepower, a 296-horsepower 300 Sport version was available for a brief time (2021-2022). A nine-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive came standard.
