If the base 2.4L four-cylinder engine isn't enough, look for a 2015 Kia Optima equipped with the 276-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which gives the Kia Optima a decent bump in performance, giving it good around-town performance and confident highway passing ability. But if you want the 2015 Kia Optima that goes further between fill-ups, it's the 2.4L four-cylinder that had the best EPA-estimated fuel economy: 23 mpg city and 33 mpg highway.
