The 2024 Toyota Camry Hybrid has great fuel economy and impressive tech
The 2024 Toyota Camry Hybrid did not receive any changes and retained the features that contributed to the success of the 2023 model. The Camry Hybrid is incredibly fuel-efficient, delivering an EPA-estimated 52 mpg in combined driving in the base LE trim. That beats the Honda Accord Hybrid (48 mpg combined). But keep in mind the Camry Hybrid's fuel efficiency drops to 46 mpg combined on higher trims. Fuel economy figures are based on EPA estimates for when vehicle sold as new. Actual mileage will vary based on things like battery age, vehicle condition and history, driving and charging habits, accessory use, and driving conditions. Battery capacity may decrease with time and use. See fueleconomy.gov for more info.
Beyond great fuel economy, the Camry Hybrid comes with a lot of advanced driver aids on all trims. Adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane keeping assistance are all included, as are Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. A wireless charging pad can also be found on some models.
The Camry Hybrid doesn't sacrifice any cargo space compared to the non-hybrid version, but its 15.1 cubic feet of space is below average compared to other midsize hybrids like the Honda Accord hybrid (16.7 cubic feet). The interior still feels reasonably roomy and the Camry Hybrid makes a great commuter or highway companion, with a comfortable seating position.

What We Like
Fuel economy: The Camry Hybrid's EPA-estimated 52 mpg in combined driving on the base trim is excellent for a midsize hybrid.
Fuel economy takes a hit when you get above the LE trim but remains very efficient.Tech: The Camry Hybrid comes with a handful of driver aids as standard features, including adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ are also standard features.
Interior: The interior is built well and is easy to get in and out of. There is plenty of space for both front and rear passengers. There are also a lot of places to store small items, like cell phones and handbags.
What Needs Improvement
Cargo space: You don't give up any cargo space by getting the hybrid, but the Camry Hybrid (15.1 cubic feet) doesn't measure up to its chief rival, the hybrid version of the Honda Accord (16.7 cubic feet). You'll also get more cargo space in the Toyota Prius (23.8 cubic feet).
