A spacious, powerful family sedan
Toyota made several changes to the Camry Hybrid in the mid-2015 model year and many of the interior and exterior design modifications carried over to 2016. This vehicle's powertrain consists of a 2.5L 200-hp four-cylinder engine and a 118-hp electric motor with automatic transmission.
Driver-assist features include lane departure alert and a pre-collision system with automatic high beams, which are standard on the XLE trim level. A blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and adaptive cruise control is available in the XLE model as standard equipment.

The Toyota Camry's sleek, aerodynamic design and consistent front-to-rear design remain in the 2016 model year. That year's Camry Hybrid LE, SE, and XLE trim lines share the same body size, styling, and engine specifications. The 2016 Camry Hybrid models share eight compelling pearl and metallic paint colors, seating fabrics, and wheels with their combustion engine counterparts. The SE model comes standard with a color-matched rear spoiler.
2. Go further with a hybrid engine
When it comes to skipping the gas station, the Camry Hybrid delivers. The 2016 Camry Hybrid LE models get an EPA-estimated 43 mpg city and 38 mpg highway with 40 combined.
The XLE and SE trim levels achieve around 40 mpg city and 38 mpg highway for a balanced 39 mpg combined.3. Hybrid-exclusive features
The 2016 Camry Hybrid has different modes for the different kinds of driving situations you find yourself in. The 2016 Camry Hybrid has a range of exterior colors for you to look for, from red, and deep blue pearl colors to black, gray, and white metallic options. You can also find a moonroof on some SE and XLE trim levels to further brighten the cabin of your sedan. The SE model has a sportier grille and body moldings if you want a bit more of an aesthetic vibe.

The Toyota Camry isn't a sporty car but it provides balanced handling that makes it comfortable for daily life. It is equipped with a stability control system, stabilizer bar, and dynamic suspension tuning for a smooth, yet stable, ride. You'll likely agree these are essential ingredients to an enjoyable ride across town or cross-country.
